Later this month, I will be heading to PyeongChang, South Korea for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games. I can't tell you how honored I am to have been asked to go! In addition to watching athletes from around the world competing in a variety of sports, I will be joining them by participating in Unified Sports Experience, a unique and very exciting event series, which debuted at the Special Olympics World Summer Games Athens. Unified Sports Experience brings together people with and without intellectual disabilities so that they can experience first hand, the power of sport to create a sense unity and acceptance through a shared joy of competition.
I am hoping you will consider sponsoring me so that Special Olympics can continue to grow and provide opportunities to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
I am honored to be a part of the Special Olympics Global Movement and hope you will join with me by supporting this great cause.
